Hockey rivalries in Canada can make or break a relationship.
When Sarah swiped right little did she know she’d be falling in love with an Oilers’ fan! Her long time love for the Maple Leafs was over shadowed by her endearment for a Fort Saskatchewan boy.
This sincerely kind and lovable couple are deceptively innocent. Getting to know them was such a blast. Sarah is so loved and surrounded by friends that she just couldn’t make cuts for bridesmaid, so she had them all! Ten lovely ladies in fact. Blaine’s six groomsmen were outnumbered almost two to one, but they didn’t seem to mind. This fun loving group brought a lot of laughs to the day. There’s so much about this film we love!
Early autumn is our favourite time of year to film. The light is perfect and the foliage is warm.
We used to live in Canmore so any time we get to go back and film there is a treat. It’s hard to have a bad day filming in this mountain town.
We’ve had several wedding ceremonies scheduled for the Canmore Ranch, but moved indoors because of rain. So when September 21st dawned bright and cloudless we were pumped to finally film there.
The party was moved to the Cornerstone Theatre where the Whiskey Boyz had the room hoppin’ and not a seat occupied.
Sarah and Blaine, you are so blessed to be surrounded with family and friends who love you, support you and will hold you up. This is the greatest treasure in life. Being a part of your day was truly a joy. Not only did we get to capture an amazing love story but we got to work with some awesome people, which makes it easier for us to create a beautiful film. Thank you for letting us tell your story. Natty and Dean
