Ok, so it wasn’t a “shotgun wedding” but there were shotguns.

Six years ago Cole and Jenica surprised their family by announcing they would be parents. A year later their family grew again. These high school sweethearts knew from the start they were meant for each other, and that love grew into a family. Reese and Liam were as much a part of this wedding as their parents. We knew the guys would be skeet shooting in the morning and we were excited to get that on film, but we didn’t know how explosive that would be. Dean had a blast (take or leave the pun) hanging with these farm boys. Jenica and Cole were married overlooking a lake adjacent to Coles family farm where they will continue to raise their kids. From the first look to the first dance this wedding was so full of emotion and joy, and Reese and Liam were there, a part of it all. Love grows. It grows in many ways, but children are a tangible celebration of love. When a marriage is the culmination of a love story there’s so much to celebrate. Jenica and Cole’s wedding was a commitment to marriage, but also to their family.
